I know I am late posting my NYC Ball Drop experience. But better late than never! So, I fly up to NYC with 3 of my girlfriends. We get in on December 30th, Saturday. It is cold, which I expected. What I didn’t expect was to get sick and for the weather to be negative 12 for NYE night. The whole weekend, I was there with a fever and felt horrible. I pushed through because I didn’t want to just sit in the hotel room and be miserable. So I drugged myself up at night and in the daytime, I got out and did some shopping and sightseeing.
Ball drop – Well I am sad to say that I went all the way to New York specifically for the ball drop and ended up not going to Times Square for that reason, mainly because I was sick and the fact that the weather was below zero didn’t help the situation.  So at the last minute, we found a cool party we went to and made the best of it.  I have actually lived in New York before and I have never felt it soooo miserably cold there.  Of course leave it to me to choose this year to attend the festivities when I am super sick and it is below 0 wind chill outside.  Lol
So, I am sorry I have nothing to write about except that we did some shopping at Macy’s (I didn’t buy anything but some Y Saint Laurent perfume that I loved.  Also, I found a coat I loved for under $50 at Century 21.  I was extremely happy about that.  It is a green Zara pea coat.  We went to a couple of parties near our hotel which were ok.  Our Hotel was great!  At $1600 for two nights we stayed at the Stay Bridge Hotel 2 blocks from Times Square and they were so great, friendly, accommodating and nice.  I highly recommend.  I am totally going to stay there again.
