SIMPLICITY 1080 PATTERN REVIEW

I chose to make the Tunic version of the pattern.  It was only 4 pieces.  I don't know why I used leather pockets.  I just had some leather remnants laying around so I thought oh well why not.  In doing that, I did not have to worry about the binding around the pockets.  After reading the first few steps of the pattern, I just put it down and just used my common sense and did the top on my own accord.

I had already read some reviews and they noted that the pattern was too complicated for such an easy top.  I found that to be true.

I had this colorful fabric at home just waiting to be used so I thought, what the heck!  I'll just go for it and hope for the best.  It really turned out better than I thought.  Out of 5 Stars, I give it 3 Stars.  It is not something I would normally make or even wear but I thought I could put my own twist to it.  I feel that the type of fabric I used made it stand out.  It's colorful and I like it.

Should you make it?  Sure, why not!
